As part of the first ASAP Intro Meet-up, held at the Startit Center in Belgrade, Marko Matejić joined Vladimir Đorić and Ana Nedeljković in a conversation centered around the topic “Price Does (Not) Matter.”
The ASAP Intro format is designed as a space for reflection and introspection into how architectural practices operate, grow, and sustain themselves over time. Within this framework, Marko addressed the realities of architectural entrepreneurship — the complexity of running an architectural practice, the challenges that come with it, and the key parameters that define long-term professional and business success.
Drawing from the experience of MAIN ARCHITECTS, the discussion explored topics such as resource planning, financial structuring, and internal workflows, while emphasizing the importance of community, openness, and knowledge-sharing as tools for collective growth. By exchanging real experiences, architectural practices can better understand their own position, reduce uncertainty, and strengthen the profession.
